Michael’s Lawsuit Against His Accountants

Michael Jackson, in a lawsuit against his former accountants, accused them of entering into commercial contracts without his authorization. On Thursday, Michael filed a lawsuit against the companies Bernstein, Fox, Whitman, Goldman, and Sloan in the Los Angeles Superior Court. In the lawsuit, he is seeking damages. The amount requested was not disclosed to the media. Michael also wants a thorough inspection of the company’s accounting books. He stated in the lawsuit that his accountants withdrew $2.5 million from his account every year as “expense payments,” but used the money for personal purposes. The lawsuit also alleges that the named company entered into commercial transactions on his behalf without Michael’s permission. Michael believes the company, without his authorization, went ahead with hiring employees and paying their salaries. He also accused the company of negligence in performing its duties and of breaching fiduciary obligations. It was also claimed that Michael’s former accountants did not provide him with accurate financial information. In August this year, Raymone Bain, Michael’s spokesperson, had said that she is suspicious of Michael Jackson’s financial matters and his advisors and business partners.
