Michael, this time in Japan

Some time ago, we informed you about the news that Michael was invited to take part in a Christmas celebration in Japan. Now a statement released by Raymone Bain confirms this news. On Tuesday, December 19, Michael will attend the Christmas celebration held in his honor at Studio Coast in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. The hosts of this event are Broderick Morris from Positive Productions Yokohama and Daisuke Kodo from God Gate Investment. The ceremony is being held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of Thriller. These two men also hosted him at this year’s MTV Music Awards, where Michael received the Legend of the Century award. Morris said about it: “Mr. Kodo and I are delighted that we will be hosting Mr. Jackson again. This ceremony will be amazing and inspiring, and everyone will have a great time. He has many friends and fans in Tokyo. And the sales of his music pieces here are higher than those of other artists. We will also congratulate him on the 25th anniversary of Thriller and its worldwide sales of 104 million copies. When he was recently awarded a diploma for his record-breaking achievements at the Guinness World Records location, we were also very happy for him. We’re counting down the days to welcome Mr. Jackson in December.” Michael Jackson also said in a statement released by Raymone Bain: “I’m looking forward to seeing Japan again and meeting my friends and fans. I’m grateful to Mr. Morris and Mr. Kodo for inviting me to Japan again and for hosting this ceremony.” Source: eMJey / Reymone K. Bain
