Debi Rowe’s New Lawsuit Against Michael
Michael’s former wife and mother of his two children, Prince and Paris, has claimed that Michael has not paid her allowance, which was set in their 1999 divorce agreement, from October 2003 to the present.
In this lawsuit, prepared on July 3 of this year, Debbie Rowe is seeking immediate payment of $195,000 for legal fees, as well as $50,000 for everyday expenses so she can pursue the custody case again.
The next court session is scheduled for July 26.
In the 1999 divorce agreement, Debbie Rowe was given custody of the children to Michael, and in 2001 she transferred all her maternal rights to Michael. But in 2003, after Michael was accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy, she filed a request to reclaim her rights with the court.
At the time of the divorce, Michael agreed to pay Debbie Rowe $1 million annually for three years after their separation, as well as $750,000 annually for the six years that followed. Debbie Rowe also received a house in the Beverly Hills area and a Ford Explorer, and she agreed to meet the children every 45 days.
