Court Date for the Accuser’s Mother Announced

Janet Arvizo, the woman who last year accused Michael Jackson of sexually abusing her son, was summoned yesterday to appear in a court to be held in August.

The date for the trial regarding Janet Arvizo’s financial crimes has been set for the seventh day of August this year, but it may be delayed. In any case, Judge Barbara Johnson has assured that the court will be held within one of the 30 days of August. This 37-year-old woman is accused of defrauding the Social Security organization. Despite having income, she received $8,000 from this organization by using false claims.

In 1999, Janet Arvizo and her son were caught by store security officers while stealing from a shop. Arvizo accused one of the store’s security officers, named J.C. Penny, of sexual harassment, and she managed to obtain $157,000 from the store owners in an out-of-court settlement.

Arvizo is accused of also hiding the receipt of such money from the Social Security organization.

Michael’s defense lawyers, during last year’s trial, portrayed Arvizo as a fraudster in search of the wealth of celebrities.

It has been said that Janet Arvizo has a history of fraud in her case file.

Patricia Hatterstley, Arvizo’s defense attorney, hopes she can reach an out-of-court agreement with the Social Security organization on this matter.
