Singapore’s Oldest Orangutan Has Shaken Hands with Michael

Ah Meng is Singapore’s oldest female orangutan. Yesterday, she celebrated her 46th birthday in her enclosure at the Singapore Zoo.

The interesting thing about Mrs. Ah Meng—Singapore’s most famous orangutan—is that she once shook hands with Michael Jackson, and the two also clinked their glasses together.
