Judge dismisses Bartocchi’s lawsuit against Michael

Michael’s defense attorney, Charles F. Gay Jr., has asked Judge Elton Fallon to remove Joseph Thomas Bartocchi’s lawsuit against Michael from the court’s docket, because the matter relates to 20 years ago.

Last year, Bartocchi claimed that during the proceedings of Michael’s case—regarding allegations that Michael sexually abused a 13-year-old boy—he remembered that in 1984 Michael had sexually assaulted him. He then filed a civil lawsuit in order to seek damages from Michael.

But now, given that more than 20 years have passed since what Bartocchi claims happened, the court is considering dismissing the case.

Michael’s defense attorney, who called Bartocchi’s claim an “interesting fictional story,” said the plaintiff has no evidence to support his statements. Scientific studies also do not confirm such a thing.

Judge Fallon has asked Bartocchi’s defense attorney to remove the psychologist doctor who had confirmed the “revival” of his client’s memories from his position.

Michael’s defense attorney says that the whole issue is a story fabricated by someone who knows how to take advantage of the judicial system.
