Judge dismisses Michael’s lawsuit

Two years ago, Michael filed a lawsuit against a man from New Jersey. The man, named Vaccaro, had seized a number of the assets of Michael’s parents and his brothers, Jermaine and Tito, in exchange for his claims. He had displayed them on a website under the title “the most interesting private information” about Michael, Janet, LaToya, and other members of this family.

Following that, Michael filed a lawsuit stating that some of these items belonged to him and should be returned. Ultimately, the court order prohibited Vaccaro from displaying and selling these items until this case was resolved. Although it later became known in 2002 that Vaccaro had sold some of the Jackson family’s property to a European buyer before the court order was issued.

At present, this case has been taken off the docket because, according to the judge, Michael has dropped the pursuit of the case. However, it is still unclear what removing the case from the court’s schedule will mean for the earlier ruling that barred the display and sale of items belonging to Michael.

Michael is seeking the return of $10 million from these family assets.
