Lionel Richie Collaborates With Michael
On Wednesday, Lionel Richie announced at a press conference that he is interested in collaborating with Michael on recording a new song titled “From The Bottom Of My Heart,” which is being made to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina in the Gulf of Mexico.

However, at this press conference, he said that each of the artists is busy with work in different parts of the world, and bringing all of them into the studio requires having a strong driving force.
Richie said that in 1985, the song “We Are The World” was recorded during the American Music Awards ceremony, and therefore all the artists who collaborated in making that song had a reason to stay in the city.
“This could be a very big project. It’s not that it can’t be done. But we need a driving force that can bring all the artists together.”
