Fortieth Session—Judge Approves a New Request From the Prosecution

In today’s court session, Judge Melville allowed the prosecution to show two books that had been seized in 1993, during the time sexual misconduct charges against Michael Jackson were being brought, when police officers searched his home.

That year, after the search of Michael’s home, obtaining these same two books—and even photographing the private parts of Michael’s body—did not produce evidence of his guilt.

The prosecution claims that these books contain pictures of boys who are not wearing clothes.

According to BBC reports, the cover design of one of these two books is a drawing showing boys in swimwear jumping into a pool. The cover design of the other book also shows a nude boy standing on a rock by the sea.

The defense attorneys objected to the judge’s decision, saying that these magazines date back many years and that the two books have nothing to do with the current case against Michael.

On this day, the prosecution also announced that it intends to call three new witnesses to the stand next week.
