Explanation of the 32nd session

In today’s court session, the complainant’s mother claimed that Michael Jackson “has fooled the whole world.”

When Thomas Mesereau asked the complainant’s mother whether it was true that she had complained to the police that “the rich pop superstar does not hire a private tutor for her children,” she said: “He didn’t care about the kids. He only cared about the things he could do with the children.”

The witness told the jury, “He has managed to fool the world. He is not what he shows. With this criminal case, people will understand who he really is.”

In response to Mesereau’s question—whether she had told the police investigator that she thought her children might leave Neverland in a big balloon—she said that this was only one of the threats made by Jackson’s employees.

When the complainant’s mother agreed that before reporting the criminal allegations to the police, she had met with two attorneys, Mesereau’s efforts in today’s court session paid off. One of the mentioned lawyers was the complainant’s family attorney from 1993, who had earned nearly $20 million for the family from this case in advance.

She said that her interviews with a private investigator who worked for Michael’s attorney were entirely at her own discretion. However, she claims that the interviews she had with Jackson’s employees only four days later were entirely under coercion, and that even her statements had been predetermined by Jackson’s employees.
