Details of the 26th Court Session

In today’s court session, Adrian McManus, a former Jackson servant, admitted that she had sold her stories about Michael Jackson’s private life and Lisa Marie Presley (Michael’s former wife) to newspapers in exchange for money. She also admitted to stealing from Michael’s home.

McManus testified yesterday that she had seen Jackson kissing and caressing the boys. She also accepted that in 1993 she had said something completely opposite. She had testified that she had never seen Michael sexually abuse children.

In today’s brief session, Thomas Mesereau’s defense attorney accused Jackson’s former servant of having threatened Jackson once—unless she was paid several million dollars, she would testify against him.

“You threatened Mr. Jackson that you would change your testimony unless he paid you.”

“I’m not familiar with lawyers’ language, so I don’t know how to answer.”

McManus said she had only been seeking justice, not money.

In response to Mesereau, who said, “But your view of justice was millions of dollars,” McManus said, “A small apology would have been enough for me.”

However, McManus added that she had never asked Michael to apologize to her because she didn’t know how to communicate with him.

McManus worked at Neverland during the time Michael and Lisa were married to each other.

Prosecutor Roz Zonen asked her whether she really had any knowledge of Jackson and Presley’s relationship.

McManus’s answer was no.

“During the four years you worked at Neverland, did you ever see a woman stay in his room with Mr. Jackson?”

“No, I didn’t see that.”

Philip LeMarque, a former Jackson employee and another prosecution witness, claimed that when he had cooked French fries for Jackson at his home, he had seen through the door crack “Macaulay Culkin” while Jackson had one hand around his waist and the other hand inside his pants.

“I was shocked. I almost dropped the fries.” The 70-year-old witness said she had left the place secretly, then returned and this time announced her arrival loudly.

“Macaulay Culkin” has consistently stated that Jackson never sexually abused him, and according to his spokesperson, Macaulay has no desire to get involved in this case.

During Mesereau’s repeated questions, the 70-year-old LeMarque revealed that he and his wife, who cooked at Neverland, had sued Jackson because he hadn’t paid their bills, and then they reached an agreement with him.
