Jury Selection Session 5

The fifth session for selecting jury members was held with Michael Jackson in attendance.

Court sessions had been postponed for a week because Michael had the flu. Following media controversy claiming that Michael Jackson intentionally made himself sick in order to delay the court sessions, Judge Rodney Melville told the jury members in court: “Mr. Jackson was truly suffering from influenza.”

In this session, 12 final jury members were selected for the court handling Michael’s charges. In the next court sessions, to be held on the 24th and 25th (tomorrow and the day after tomorrow), the selection of 8 alternate jurors will begin.
