Reports about Michael Jackson being hospitalized
Yesterday, Michael Jackson was transferred to a hospital on his way to court to take part in the fourth question-and-answer session with the jury members selected for his case, due to feeling unwell and nausea.
Dr. Chuck Meryl diagnosed Michael’s illness as the flu. And, according to Judge Melville, “He has all the signs that we experience when we catch the flu.” Michael Jackson is currently hospitalized. Chuck Meryl said in a press conference that Michael’s condition is stable.
“He will be released from the hospital when his condition is stable and he is healthy enough to go home.”
Following the incident that happened to Michael, his brother Randy went to the hospital. Randy said that on the way to court, Michael had started feeling nauseous.

“I met him over the weekend and told him not to go to court. But he insisted on going.”
When Randy was trying to leave the hospital in his car, he encountered a crowd of fans and reporters. A young woman who intended to make her way through the crowd fainted due to the congestion and fell to the ground and was injured. While she was unconscious, she was taken to the hospital on a stretcher.

The gathering of reporters in the hospital grounds caused many problems for the officials there—so much so that it took away the peace of the hospital’s patients and disrupted their privacy. Following the problems created, hospital officials arranged a place outside the hospital grounds for the media to gather. And all reporters and camera crews were told to move to that location as quickly as possible. Hospital officials also said that, according to patient-information confidentiality rules, they would not release any information about Michael’s physical condition.
