Statements by Michael Jackson’s Spokesperson Outside Court About His Physical Condition

Michael Jackson’s spokesperson, outside court, explained to reporters that:

“Mr. Jackson woke up at around 4:30 a.m. with a severe backache, called his lawyer, and at around 5:54 he was quickly transferred to the emergency department of the hospital.

He was willing to go to court and hear the statements of the complainant, and this has absolutely nothing to do with performing a role. Michael Jackson has taken this matter very seriously, and he knows this isn’t a joke—it has affected his life.”
