Neverland تنتقل
On Monday of this week, Michael Jackson transferred Neverland, the property located in Los Olivos in the Santa Barbara area of California, USA, to the company Sycamore Valley Ranch by signing an official deed of transfer. The Secretary of the Santa Barbara County Recorder’s Office, Tom Pearson, announced on Wednesday that from now on, the owner of Neverland will be Sycamore Valley Ranch.
Sycamore Valley Ranch is the result of a joint investment between Michael Jackson and an entity affiliated with Colony Capital LLC. According to Pearson, the official deed does not mention the name of the company’s owner, Sycamore. The company was registered in June of this year.
Colony Capital is a real estate investment company headquartered in Los Angeles. The company is run by the well-known billionaire Tom Barrack. Many Las Vegas properties, including the Las Vegas Hilton, are owned by this company.
Before it was purchased by Michael Jackson in 1988, Sycamore Valley Ranch was the name of the property and it was a livestock-breeding ranch run by Bill Boon. It is still unclear what will become of Neverland’s 2,700 acres (1,100 hectares), the land of Peter Pan’s dreams.
