MichaelGate: The Conspiracy, Author Geraldine Hughes Needs Your Support
Hello to the world's greatest fans, supporters and friends of Michael Jackson:
I continue to marvel at the power of Michael Jackson's fan clubs and fans. I seek your assistance once again in getting my next book "MichealGate: The Conspiracy" picked up by a major publisher which would eliminate the problems that we had with Redemption being published by a small publisher.
My agent is pitching MichaelGate to several major publishers and she feels that if we give them a sign of support from Michael's fans, this will move their hands in penning the deal. We are now looking at the book being released in February 2006 and, as most of you already know, it is about all the conspiracies that were responsible for the 2005 Michael Jackson trial. It is being called MichaelGate because I am skillfully showing the resemblances between Watergate and what happened to Michael Jackson (government abuse of power).

Almost 700,000 music lovers from 66 countries worldwide voted for the favorite songs, and the results were just announced in the official website for this competition. There are 18 Michael Jackson hits among the first 100, a record that no other artist got even close to.

Sony Ericsson has launched a website for its newest product which is given the title Walkman Phone. On the website there is a poll for the best 100 songs that will be chosen to be included on W800 Model phones. The deadline is September 28th.

Juror Attends Jackson Party
Michael Jackson’s fans, some of his family, one of his lawyers and at least one of his jurors gathered at a casino near his home Friday night for what was billed as a celebration of thanks.
Among the crowd that arrived at the Chumash Indian Casino was Pauline Coccoz, a member of the jury that acquitted Jackson of child molestation charges. She called her jury service “the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
When she walked into the casino and heard Jackson’s music playing, Coccoz said, the enormity of what had transpired hit her.
“They were playing ‘Beat It,’ and I almost started to cry,” she said as she waited to enter the showroom.
Jackson, who has not appeared in public since being acquitted Monday, was nowhere in sight.
Jackson’s mother, Katherine, and one of his sisters, Janet, managed to avoid reporters as they entered the showroom. The crowd erupted in cheers as they arrived to the sounds of the song “I’ll Be There.”
Others spotted arriving for the show headlined by Jackson’s brother Tito included defense attorney Robert Sanger and Jackson’s magician friend, who calls himself Majestic Magnificent.
Reporters were kept out of the showroom, and an Associated Press reporter who got inside briefly was escorted out by tribal police. Casino officials said they had orders from the Jackson family to keep all journalists out.
About 400 hundred people were in attendance when Tito Jackson and his band took the stage. Jackson’s brother has been performing periodically at the casino, and he was scheduled to appear Friday night before it was decided to turn the show into what one of his band members called a celebration of thanks.
Tito Jackson said he planned to perform a mixture of blues and some Michael Jackson songs, adding that Michael Jackson impersonators would join him in performing his brother’s songs.
Wristbands that were handed out earlier in the day were needed for admission to the showroom. Coccoz said that when someone gave her wristbands she decided to bring her family, partly as a public display of her confidence in the jury’s verdict.

Light A Candle For Michael - A Circle of Prayer from MJFC
Not every fan has the opportunity to come to Santa Maria in person to support Michael Jackson during his trial. But there is something very special that you can do for Michael.
At the end of the Geraldo interview on Fox television, Geraldo asked Michael if there was anything else that he wanted to add. Michael paused and said "I would just like for the public to keep my family and myself in their prayers. That would be nice."
MJFC has created a wonderful place where you can light a virtual candle for Michael, share prayers, thoughts and meditations for his welfare and read what others have written. It is non denominational and open to all.

Santa Maria, a small country town
About 200 fans from across the United States, Japan and Europe travelled to this formerly anonymous country town to show their support for the beleaguered entertainer, while some enterprising locals cashed in on the growing circus by setting up souvenir stalls.
Excited fans screamed as stepped out of a black sports utility vehicle at 8:50 am (1650 GMT) and took shelter under a signature black umbrella, waving to the crowd in acknowledgement of their support in his darkest hour.
Fans hemmed in by security barriers yelled "Give 'em hell Mesereau" and "Let's go, let's go" as the star prepared to go through a metal detector at the court's entrance.

As Jackson's "lost children" song blared from a boom box, the supporters, hemmed in behind police barricades, chanted slogans such as "leave him alone" and "innocent."
Some supporters, wearing "We Love Michael the Living King" T-shirts, yelled out their scorn against the prosecutors and the family of Jackson's now 15-year-old accuser.
"It's time to testify," the fans yelled in reference to the teenage boy at the center of the allegations against Jackson.
"We are here to give him our 100 percent support," said Sean Vizina, a 24-year-old Jackson impersonator who showed up clad as his idol.
Eight teenagers from Japan, all clad in white as a gesture of support to their idol, giggled as they asked not to be photographed, saying their bosses at home did not know they were in California.
One held out up a sign which said "Make love your weapon to overcome any evil," while others held up signs proclaiming "Innocent" in English and Japanese.
A 27-year-old nurse named Janet Manbrake, had wrapped herself in the flag of her native Sweden held up a placard proclaiming Jackson as "the saviour of the world."
"A lot of people are from Europe, we are hardcore fans, we travelled from all over the world to see him," she said.
Asked if she had any message for the star, she said: " If you need anything Michael, just call me."
Jackson supporters waved flags from France, Britain, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Norway and Sweden, as well as the United States.
One woman held up a sign proclaiming "Moms for Michael" and a young man waved a placard with a cartoon of Peter Pan, a Union Jack and the words "England supports Michael."

We will meet and organize at the baseball diamond, which is the grassy field next to the courthouse. From there, we will silently march (walk) by and around the courthouse and end in front again for a peaceful candle light vigil. Please keep in mind that in order to avoid problems with authorities, we need to be as quiet and peaceful as possible. Let’s represent Michael Jackson with poise, peace, and respect. Let’s not forget why we’re there.

Location Change for VIGIL OF FAITH - 2005
We have just received this notification from MJJForum about the location change for the VIGIL OF FAITH:
On Monday, January 24, 2005 - MJJForum secured Ryon Memorial Park in the City of Lompoc to hold a Vigil of Faith for Michael Jackson.
It has become necessary for us to cancel our arrangements for this location because the City of Lompoc Parks & Recreation Service has altered the terms of our original contract due to an anonymous phone they received. This caller provided them with untruths indicating that we were going to have 1,000 fans show up and needed police and extra security.
They immediately determined that the time of the event could be no longer than 2 hours and the police would be there in full force in anti-rally gear to disperse the crowd at the end of the event. Barricades were to keep us to one section of the park and they required a million dollar bond.
With the safety of our members and Michael's fans upper most in our minds, we will be relocating the Vigil of Faith to another less hostile location.
The new location will be announced within 24 hours.
